The dark grey and white textile is a new, handwoven Ikat from Uzbekistan. It's 50% silk/50% cotton- a shimmery moiré-like appearance with superior strength and softness.

Put Your Feet Up or Rest a Tray?
Tough choice you've got there. But if you're looking to dazzle, this is it! Recently upholstered with a little loft on top, this ottoman (or coffee table) is comfortable for seating, and stable enough for resting a tray. It's a generous size too, measuring 28" x 28" and 15-16" off the ground. There are Antique French upholstery nails at the top of each leg.
The vintage suzani cover dates from around 1940 and is hand embroidered; silk threads on a black cotton foundation. Colors include: red, magenta, white, yellow, and green. And there's a jolly green button right in the center, like the cherry on a sundae.

Embroidered into this Suzani (circa 1950s), are idealized images from nature such as almond flowers, vines, swallows and angels. The tradition of including elements from Nature is an integral part of Suzani textile composition, indicative of harmony with the natural world.
These chair frames are the 1950s-era take on Louis XV fauteuils. But hold the hand carved flowers. These maple chairs feature simpler details with the same sexy legs. Stuffed with horsehair and new springs, they are quite comfortable, too!
This Suzani is a wonder of hand embroidered silk imagery on a creamsicle-orange cotton foundation. Colors include: red, blue, green, white, yellow, black and purple. Check out the purple vines at the apron of both chairs. These vines indicate the border between reality and fantasy.

This low to the ground Bunfoot Ottoman boasts an unusual vintage Suzani . Hand embroidered on a mint green cotton foundation, the off-white, pink and maroon silk threads depict stylized trees. A fabulous fanciful yellow silk thread border decorates all 4 sides.
The bun feet are shiny hard wood in excellent condition on a solid wood frame. The Bunfoot Ottoman measures 16-1/2" w x 20-1/2" deep x 9-1/2" h. $495

Tadjik Floor Cushions
Stuffed with down and feathers, this cushion measures 30" x 20" x 4" high. The vintage Suzani textile from the early-20th Century features cotton hand embroidery on a black cotton foundation. Note the beautiful, tight stitches! The backside of the cushion is purple ultrasuede for durability. Embroidery colors are: red, purple, orange, white and green and feature the Chili Pepper icon (to ward off evil spirits). Each Tadjik Floor Cushion is unique; design may vary slightly.
