Fabulous Mahogany Bench

from the early 20th century, covered with a vintage (1940-1960) Suzani. Upholstered in 2008 with hand-tied springs and horse hair under an unusual geometric and floral design Suzani, this magnificently hand-carved bench is a remarkable piece. Check out the goat feet! Bench measures 42-1/2" wide, by 26" deep by 33-1/2" high.

Great for a foyer, entry way, etc.

The Suzani has a pomegranate-colored cotton foundation with cotton hand embroidery. Thread colors include: turquoise, purple, yellow, black, white, and green. Icons include shrubs (in the centers of the roundels), suns and flowers. Thread colors are striking in their intensity- the photo doesn't do it justice! $1995
